Do you remember what busted said? They were happy when they're album was out in England, along side all those great artists, its probably the same in america, at the beginning of this year busted probably had like 4 fans in america, now they have 4000, you can't say that busted are dead in america, yes its big and 4000 doesn't seem alot, but its more than what busted had here when they first started, and as for the street team closing, just open another one? look what we did and busted are famous here. You say they'd like Air Hostess, in my opinion Air Hostess is the worst song on the album (its not bad, but its not the best), What I go to School for was an amazing track to release as a first single. and as for them being on TRL, you can only vote SO much, before they'll register it as spamming, dedicating every hour of the day voting for them isn't the way to get the band known, because you don't even know they're going to get onto it, you need to get out, tell your friends, make flyers and promote properly, instead of waiting for them to be on ONE television show and as for the mtv2 thing, atleast its being aired, people will see it, and if you promote it and market it right it'll be a big hit. It's not our fault they're not doing well and we are doing the best we can, it takes time, busted didn't get number 1 here until they'd released 3 singles and now its not a gurentee that they'll get one. We still have to work, 4000 albums is an acheivement, for one band, consisting of 3 members, from england, in a big country like America. Be proud.

We still have to work, 4000 albums is an acheivement, for one band, consisting of 3 members, from england, in a big country like America. Be proud. Well said. and Exactly. It took time to get them known over here, and it didnt really start untill you said No came out and surprised everyone with it reaching Number 1. And they had what i go to school for and Year 3000 before that and they did well. If you get huge expectations of them being number 1 with there first single and over in america.... you are going to be sadly dissapointed, it takes time to get noticed. Especially because of the size and different in taste of music, american's have. Maybe Busted isnt there cup of tea? You cant force them on people. As for TRL.. i wouldnt waste your time voting hours a day, Like amy said, they will see it as spamming, and its just a little bit funny how its the same people each time voting.. Voting once a day is enough I think. If you want a great single, Release 3am in the states, It is the best song on there album and yes im biast because I love that song, it always has been my favorite, but personally, i think it shows Busted at there best. America or Busted, will help them.. No doubt, its going to help them as TV star's But thats not what we want is it? The only way i see people taking notice of Busted is if people go out in the US and start promoting them harder, its no good for us, to go ' buy busteds america album' over here, we're not the people who have to be impressed by them again are we? At the end of the day, we can only do so Much, and I personally dont think 4000 albums being sold is a bad thing, some UK artists didnt even get that when they tried, and calling it a failer isnt helping, and giving up on them certainly isnt either. And I know maybe you'd concider it a huge failer to have sold 4,000 albums, But like amy said, at least they have 4,000 fans over there! Its the fans that have to go out and promote it, Busted can only do so Much when they go over there, its up to the ST to keep them going. I know that the ST is being taken away, Like ours was, but you know what? Look at us now, we didnt give up, we opened this and we're still doing our job.. so come on.. show them some support and do yours...

I don't see how not selling many albums, after it's only been out a few weeks, counts as failing.. they've only been over there to promote a couple of times, and America is obviously much bigger than the Uk so it's not gonna happen over night..

As a promoter these are very bad signs.. Having promoted the guys from the Beginning of their American journey .. many things could of been different... As UK fans u don't realize how bad of a job it is to sell 4,000 records if that is even the right number of albums they sold.. when they have been "supossedly promoted" since May?! Tell me this.. if their promotions were really working on stuff for them.. they would be played on the Radio.. NO Radio play not even in the places they have been before.. they come to one place and never come back.. and they never book more then one gig in a place.. If they wanna do well.. they HAVE TO GET THEM ON TRL...hands down... I talked to adam about all this stuff... MTV is controling when they are on MTV... just like when they were at the VMA's... I wasn't allowed to tell anyone that they were there 4 the fact MTV didn't want it to look like they are known at all in the states.. Hate to say but all of maybe 4 fans who might know them wouldn't of killed them.. Hense no TRL PLAY... NO NOTHING... MTV seems to me... screwing them over majorly.. then all of a sudden they are doing this show with NOT even 1 time going on TRL saying hey we are Busted.. Check out our show on MTV2 starting Nov 19th.. blah blah...I MEAN COME ON!! THEY ARE LITTERALLY 3 blocks away from TRL when they stay in NYC!! To me for them not to come back to America til march makes no sense wot so ever.. if they even come back for sure.. U can't just release a show on a NON-Mainstream Channel and have NO PROMO from the band until half a year later... its like WHO IS BUSTED!?! I Mean come on! Then all of a sudden one day Their "so called" promotions is shut down without a word to anyone? Come on how could they not freak out.. u guys as UK fans don't get that if u don't do well in the US ur label is NOT gonna pay for u to come back.... Think if they would of had real promo for all that time .. maybe they would of gotten somewhere.. EVEN ONE TIME ON TRL! they would be better off.. I just think its all a crock. I can't figure it out.. I mean their Radio play.. being non-exsistant seems a bit JACKED UP TO ME! Ugh just a bit of an overview of some of the messed up stuff that has gone on over here!! So give the American Fans a break.. bc My USA STREET TEAM has litterally been the only promo they have had... ~Kymberly

I have to say I dont think it was anythign to do with Busted not being liked - they were just not promoted in the right places or at the right time.
Dunno what was happening out there..both Kym and I contacted Richard/Fletch and they were well aware of the potential problems out there.....they cannot say otherwise.
The promo team (?) was virtually non-existent and relied heavily if not all on what was coming from Kym or our UK ST...in most cases we were ahead of the game in all things and had it not been for Kym's promo there would have been no shows at all the events!!!
They have had massive support on the voting for radio and TRL from the UK to supplement the US input..... still nothing aired...........
Just sounds sticky to me....there is something we dont know about.

I think the management were lied to.......I think they wre telling Busted and Prestige they were contacting the Radio stations etc........but on reflection they had never even heard of them.......so I guess either they werent ever approached or werent properly marketed/promoted.
