Could things get any worse for ex-Busted 'Star' Matt Jay? Not only is he battling booze addiction but he's been unceremoniously been dumped by his pretty girlfriend Emma Griffiths.

I'm told spotty Matt, 22 [he's 21 love get it right.] was left devastated when MTV presenter Emma ended there six month romance.
Emma, 29 wasn't at his side when the unemployed bass player checked into the priory last week. She was 200 miles away in manchester presenting MTV's 'spankin new music week' after returning from a marbella girlie holiday.
I told you in january how Emma had been cosying up with her ex, Co-host Alex Zane, Behind Matt's back.
Since dumping the countrys most unlikely popstar. Emma has told pals she hopes to get back with Hunky Alex.
My mole tells me " Matt's gutted, he's lost his girl and he's battling to fight his boose addictions. Emma wishes Matt all the best but she always knew he wasn't the man for her.

So strong that she had planned to ditch Matt for him at her birthday paty at London's soho artist club last month. Both her love rivals were there.. but Emma bottled it at the last minute, not wanting to ruin the night.
I would have brought you the news of Matt's priory visit Last week, but his publicist Heather Redmond, denied he was seeking help for his drinking problem.
she told me then : "It's not true, Matt isn't recieving counselling and no one encourageded him to do so. He's in a really good place in his head at the moment. Matt isn't recieving Counselling, His manager, Matthew Fletcher is very angry about this because the story is fabricated. He's going to be very annoyed if you run it, because he's very adamant it's not true"
Don't worry guys, give it a few months and Matt will be stacking shelves and no one will want to write about him....
