Popjustice party line: the Son Of Dork single

Let it be known that as of yesterday afternoon the Son Of Dork single is officially completely amazing. It had previously been quite a good Busted single with Star Trek instead of Back To The Future. Now it is amazing.

We know this to be true, because we decided it in an office full of people, each of whom are prepared to stand as witness if this ever goes to court.

But what of the band? What about Steve, Chris, Danny and Dave Out Of Son Of Dork, and what about James Out Of Busted Out Of Son Of Dork? Surely there must be more to them than screams of 'f**k ME! IT'S PETER BRAME IN A BLONDE WIG!' Well, to find out all about the combo, let's look to the current issue of pop 'bible' Smash Hits.

They've got Son Of Dork on the cover, which means they've devoted a meaty (and by 'meaty' we mean AT LEAST six hundred words) article to the band.

During the course of the probing interview the band reveal the following:

"You've got to take each month as it comes."

"At school, I just stayed in every night and did my homework."

"I can't wait for the new PlayStation - it looks amazing."

"I once fell over in the playground."

"We've made an album we're really proud of and I know people will dig it."

Well now you know.

Oh, and there's a sidebar in which pop 'geeks' are exposed. What, you might wonder, does one have to do to qualify as a geek? According to Smash Hits, the answer seems to be 'go to university'. (Subtext: don't go to university - degrees have no practical use when it comes to texting your votes to a shortcode, Kenzie didn't go to university and look where he is now, 'etc'.)

its called sarcasm. or a joke. Anyway if you do get called A geek [like I do] its better to act like its a compliment rather than to let it get to you.

I agree with Lesley.

Geeks = Gay. Now it's "in" to be a geek. OH PLEASE. Another form of being something you arent just cos its in.

And, people that don't go to uni, and get paid more than i do after I've been to uni to get my degree will be shot
