Matt Wright, hailing from Tonbridge fronts his 4 piece band.
Of his recent album: "This CD ('Darker Than Light') does a fantastic job of adapting the sound of the best classic rock for today. While directly adapting some classic rock moments, those homages flow out of something uniquely contemporary. Have managed to fuse the best traits of emo with the best traits of classic rock to create a CD that's really outstanding. Riot Lights are four ambitious young lads from the South coast, currently leaving audiences begging for more with their energetic indie punk antics.
Already achieving plays on radio along the south coast with no official release, and XFM Scotland's Jim Gellatly paving the way and championing the band, describing their songs as "wonderfully punchy sing-a-long indie rock n roll", which is not a bad thing at all!
With industry whispers, fans vying for attention and the increasingly packed out shows, now is the time to catch these cheeky upstarts before they play even larger venues next year.
